Can One Take Calc. II and III Concurrently?

I’m trying to register to take Calculus II and III in the same semester. Regardless of how excruciating the workload would be, I am passionate about the subject material and it is in my best interest to do this. With this being said, how critical is Calc. II to Calc. III? I have heard that Calc. III deals with Calculus I significantly more than II. Taking Calc. I without Calc. II is certainly impossible, but is taking Calc. II and III in conjunction feasible?

P.S. I have heard some universities do this.

That’s a good question for you to discuss with the Math Department at your school.

This is something you need to figure out for your particular school.
–look at the prerequisites for calc 3
–talk to your academic advisor
–ask a math professor at the college

Based. upon your other posts, I am assuming that you took “Business” Calc as a freshman, decided to switch to Econ, and went back to take “real” Calc. Even if for some reason, they would allow this, I don’t see how it would be a good idea.
