Can PR AP chem get me a 4?

yea... im studying right now..

here is the thing: i have slacked off the entire 2nd semester (equlibrium, phase change, electrochem, entropy, acid base, and kientics)...

i have the 5 steps to a 5... but i am just reading the entire Princeton Review right now

my question is: if i read the entire PR 2010 for chem, do practice tests, and released tests from 2002,2004,2008... and 2 years of FR (2010 and 2009)...

Will I get a 4 on the make-up (thursday)?

Those topics yuo slacked off are like the big ones…especially acid/base, electrochem, and thermodynamics…

That depends if you are generally good at self-studying for things. IMO the exam last week was really easy…the MC will be the same and the FRQ will at least be of similar difficulty. We used Princeton Review throughout the year, I’d say it is slightly easier than the real thing. If you can get yourself to the 5 level in PR you should be golden for a 4.

PR is not exactly the most thorough review book for Chem. As the poster above me said, if you can get a 5 in that book, you should be on track for a 4. Also, as lemone said, the things you slacked off on make up a good deal of the test. These are probably some of the most important concepts in chemistry and mastering those topics is necessary if you really want to have a good understanding of the subject. You better get studying and look over your notes. PR is good, but not that good. Chemistry is supposed to be a hard subject, so cramming in material may not work so well, but you can try. I found the test to be very easy also, but that’s because I really get chemistry (that’s part of the reason why I’ll be a ChemE next year). Best of luck!

Dude seriously, you’re definitely getting a 5 with all that prep. Last year, I started self-studying Chem about a week before the actual exam. I had no previous Chem knowledge before I started studying, and solely relied on the PR and Barron’s books, no extra practice tests or anything. I ended up with a 5.

a lot of my friends from last year easily got 5’s just from pr… and from not completely slacking off during class. so i’d say you’ll almost definitely get a 4. a 5 is also very possible, especially if you really review those sections you slacked off during
