Can professor's approval/note/signature override restriction? (i.e. Major only)

<p>Currently an 'undeclared major', registered for Uni studies, MGMT 6 (intro to business), math 2a, and writing 39b.</p>

<p>Trying to get back into business administraton, so prereq classes i need to take include econ 20a and MGMT 10. And I realize that all the spops are done, and there are spots left in econ 20a and MGMT 10. </p>

<p>Even though the restrictions for these classes are for majors only, if I can talk with the professor and perhaps get permission to take the class, will his/her approval override the class restriction?</p>
