AP’s are only for gaining credits so that you don’t have to take a particular course in college. </p>

<p>If the question was " Can good AP scores make up for bad SAT 2 scores?", then the answer would be no.</p>

<p>SAT 2 scores on the other hand are considered for admission purposes.</p>
