Can Sat subject test scores be cancelled?

My daughter is a senior. She is taking Math II, Bio and Chemistry on Oct 6th. She is confident on Math but not confident on bio and chem. We urged her to take it atleast as a practice and cancel the scores right after the tests if she didn't do well. and take them again in Nov.

Will she be able to cancel the bio and chem tests alone or does it have to be the entire 3 tests?

If she cancels the scores right away, will they still grade the tests?

Please answer these questions. Thank you.

Yes, see Score Choice
[Score Choice - New SAT Score-Reporting Policy](Send SAT Scores to Colleges - SAT Suite | College Board)

Thanks for the link 4kidsdad. It was verry helpful.

That is not my understanding and that page does not address cancellation but instead score choice which allows you to choose to not send some test scores you already have to colleges; however, a number of colleges require you to send all scores that you have.

Cancellation is a different issue. You can cancel a score only before it is released (by the Wednesday after the test). It results in a score never being given and it is as if you never took the test for purpose of reporting anything to colleges. Cancellation applies to any and all tests you take on a single date and you cannot choose to cancel one subject test and not another except in special circumstances – such as equipment failure at the site or you became ill during the testing – that are verified by a document signed by the supervisor at the site.
