D2 rushed to submit her UMD application. After she did, we discovered that she had forgotten to mention that she is NM Commended. I’m not sure how important the Maryland AO would find this, so I don’t know if we should try to add that piece of information, or even if we could. Any insights?
I have no insight as to if you could although I think you can generally have something added. It’s not going to play a deciding factor in their decision to admit or not so I’d just let it go. If she receives a major award or wins a competition on a state or national then I’d take the opportunity to update the school.

Don’t bother. They can see that based on the PSAT score which would be in her record.
