Your academic credentials (GPA, class rank, SAT I) are fine. Do you have SAT II scores?
Also, what is your senior schedule? You list 17 AP test scores to date, which is ridiculous. What courses are there left for you to take? Did you self-study for some of those exams?
Your ECs are a little light, especially for Stanford. There isn’t anything that stands out, or shows exceptional commitment or achievement. You’ve done some art, some athletics, some volunteering and some leadership, but nothing stands out. That will make it difficult for you. UCB seems likely given your academic qualifications. I disagree with the reach for engineering at UCB, given your scores, GPA and class rank.
Most importantly, what do you want to do with your life. I get no sense of you as a person, just an amorphous list of scores and AP exams, and a smattering of evenly distributed ECs without a ton of depth.
@renaissancedad Also depends on what engineering he is applying to. He doesn’t have much engineering experience to stand out and some of Berkeley’s engineering majors (EECS, Undeclared, Mechanical) boast ivy-level acceptance rates.
Your EC’s for Stanford are fine. Being first generation really helps. Are you low-income? If that’s the case, apply for QuestBridge. Berkeley is a match for you unless you plan on going into EE/CS.
Your SAT score is pretty high, as well as your GPA, rank, and AP scores (how do you even manage to take 17 AP classes!). I think your EC is pretty average and like @renaissanced said, you should probably take SAT II’s if you haven’t especially for a school like Stanford.
