<p>Hey everybody. I'm probably in the same boat as alot of ppl and haven't received my status update from UCI yet. I would like to know if i have a good chance at getting in UCI. So far ive been accepted to only riverside and santa cruz. Rejected at Davis, SB, SD, LA.</p>

<p>some EC's: Varsity Tennis, Orchestra, 80 Hours volunteer</p>
<p>you have a good chance but other people with similar stats as you didnt get in, which is really surprising.</p>
<p>how the hell did you get rejected from all those schools with those stats?</p>

<p>and is that your UC weighted GPA?</p>
<p>I had my essays reviewed by my junior honors teacher and a private Tutor. Both said that essays were very strong. Teacher said it was my best work so far and im an A student in english. and yes that is my UC weighted gpa.</p>
<p>Some people have been telling me that i got rejected from those other UC’s because i applied as an engineering major. Could that be true?</p>

thats what happened to me too and i kind of regret signing up as engineering now</p>
