thanks!

friend, a 74/100 is certaintly not 3.2 gpa. either way, a 3.2 gpa is way below avg as is a 1570 sat. theres always a chance tho. good luck man.

I believe her SAT scores actually add up to a 1770. I do know people who have gotten into Penn State with scores in that range.

But yes, your GPA may hurt you, as it weighs heavily in the admission decision. I would definitely put down that you are willing to go in the summer, as that will help your chances.

my bad with the SAT score.

Yeah, i got in with that range.

1810 SAT, but 3.8 GPA and very very rigorous curriculum; 19 total AP/Honors credits

good luck but that GPA which is so heavily weighted in their decision is really low

ALSO: have your school send out your WEIGHTED GPA because they will look at whichever score they get. that might help your case.

And as previously mentioned, apply for the summer session

I already applied can I change it now? and my school does not rank and send out weighted GPA. we just dont have that system. all of my courses are IB I am a full candidate. wouldn’t that help I mean they MUST know IB is THE MOST rigourous college prep program? Or is my gpa still too low?

ur transcript should list all the courses you took (IB)

the colleges u apply to should be known of the rigor of your courses. that should balance out your gpa dilemma

my transcript lists all the IB and non-IB courses already.
thanks everyone for your comments :)

any other comments? will chance back if you want me to

I got in with a 2.6 so you never know with her GPA. Plus you not being white (no offense to anyone) is a bonus.

it is. plus, there are ALOT of shcholarships u can apply for for not being white (i would know… im hispanic!)

everyone thank you for your comments. I got into Smeal College of Business for Fall 2010. Good luck to all of you :)
