So i'm currently a junior in high school and recently have been researching different things about college. I plan to go into engineering so my school choices are: Cal poly SLO, UC Berkeley (Really don't see me getting in), UCLA, UCSD, and SDSU. So my question is, if I can't get into UC Berkeley, and I end up going somewhere else, is it possible to go to grad. school at UC Berkeley to get my masters? And if it is, how hard is doing something like that?

[Master of Engineering (M.Eng) Degree Program | EECS at UC Berkeley](http://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/Gradadm/MEngprogram.htm)

Can you take it from this point, or do you want us to do more research for you?

It is perfectly possible. Grad school admissions is based on your college GPA, the GPA in your major field (or if you are changing fields, in the coursework related to the new one), your GRE (or subject specific exam) score, your letters of recommendation, your statement of purpose (sort of an advanced “why college X and why subject X” essay), and any work/internship/research/publications related to the proposed field of graduate study. If you have a specific grad program in mind already, it is perfectly OK to contact them and ask what their expectations are for applicants.
