-I took ACT last week still awaiting results
-I have a lot of EC activites and leadership roles. I have about 70+ hours of community service.

-I applied to Rutgers New Brunswick about three weeks ago sent my application with transcript and everything and the thread where everyone talk about their acceptance in like a week is making me depressed. I feel worried, very worried. Do you guys think I have a chance?

You have a great chance. Your in-state? Which school are you applying to. Cause I've been waiting for nearly 2 weeks now and I applied to CAS.

Yeah I am in state. I am applying to CAS, Engineering, and Business. I really want to get in. That thread really scares me though. This whole site really scares me with kids getting 2350's on their SAT's and 4.9 GPA's, that's freaking crazy!

No one else

I think you have a good chance. I'm applying to Rutgers too! But I didn't send my application yet since I still have to hand in a request to my counselor for her to send my transcript.

But, don't worry. You have an advantage since you are instate, and your SAT scores are good. I would be surprise if you get rejected.

Oh, and don't worry that you haven't got your decision yet. It varies with each person. Who knows, you might learn about Rutgers's decision this week! :)

Yea, this site is kind of discouraging, but those kids who get 2300+ SAT scores are just focusing on the uber-selective school, with acceptance rates of less than 20%. Rutgers accepts about 60% of their applicants
