What are my chances at UCB,UCLA,UCSD,UCD,UCI,UCSB,UCSC,UCR,UCM?
Your GPA and SAT are competitive for all but probably UCLA/UCB which would be Low Reaches based on your low SAT CR score. I suggest you retake and try to up that score since the rest of your application looks good. You have a good chance at all of the rest of the UC’s but just remember, only UCLA/UCB/UCI and UCR have true business schools. For the rest of the UC’s, you are looking at an Econ major with a business related minor. I would drop UCM and UCSC and add Cal Poly SLO and SDSU which have outstanding business programs. Good Luck.
UC’s do not consider class rank in the normal sense, but if you are ELC eligible (top 9% of HS Class or State) then it will help. Yes, Econ and Business majors are competitive. UCI’s Business administration major is impacted along the majority of the top ranked Cal States such as SDSU and SLO. UCB/UCLA are extremely competitive overall.
