Schools I'm applying to:UCSD, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, UCI, UCSC, NYU,WashU
Gender:male Race:Half-Chinese Half-German, Public School, top 10%
Rising Senior, tough schedule
probable major:Pre-med or something science
UC GPA:3.65
SAT I:haven't taken yet
ACT:29, essay 8
SAT Subjects: Physics-750, USH-750, Bio M-750
APs:World History-5, Euro-5, Bio-5, USH-4, Physics-4, Eng. Lang.-4
ECs: 4 years of humanities club(next year VP), 4 years of Academic Decathlon(some awards), 4 years Academic League(3 years varsity, 1 JV, next year captain)
Anyways if I left something out that would be useful in gauging my chances, feel free to ask.</p>

<p>Your GPA is good, but not the best ... and the same thing goes for your ACT. Your SAT Subjects are very impressive tho compared to your GPA/ACT. Your challenging courseload should help compensate for your lower GPA, and your ECs are few in number, but they demonstrate a lot of commitment and dedication, and you show leadership in them. </p>

<p>Overall, you're a decent student. I'll assume that you live in California, because most of your schools are UCs. </p>

<p>if you're top few students, you probably have a higher chance at UCLA/Cal than at NYU, say Stern.
UCSD is looking good for you.</p>

<p>I agree with ab for the most part. UCSD UCLA and UCB are little more reaches then he stated due to UC GPA. But Essays matters alot in these three.</p>
