I want to major in Economics. How fast do the slots for econ fill up? I'm taking the ACT again on Saturday btw. I'm going to try to have my application in before the end of October at the very latest.

you have a great chance of being an Aggie.
Economics is a popular Mhttp://corps.tamu.edu/connect-with-the-corps/contact-us.htmlajor. I think you could easily be accepted as you stand - then submit your new ACT score. Why don’t you just call and speak to someone with the Corps

Sometimes getting that application in early can get you the major you really want.

Thank you! Do you know when the econ spots typically get filled up by? When should I have my app in to ensure that I lock up a spot?

A&Ms Econ program isn’t the hardest major to be accepted to…plus you already have good stats. Throw in the fact that you are OOS and want to join the Corps, I think you are a shoe in, personally.

Thanks man! I appreciate the encouragement. Do you have any idea around what time econ majors begin to fill up? I’ve heard that some majors are already full for next fall

Last year, there were only 425 undergrad econ majors in all. I honestly don’t think it will fill up.
