Can someone chance me please?

I am currently a junior in high school. My weighted GPA is 4.38 and my unweighted is 3.8. I've taken 5 honors so far and have had 2 AP classes so far. For my senior year I plan on taking 4 AP classes.

The 2 AP classes I've taken so far are AP French and AP European History. For my senior year I plan on taking AP Spanish, APUSH, AP Government, and AP Computer Science. I also plan on having Honors English Literature.

My SAT score is 1850. But I plan on taking it again and really want around a 1900.
Also, on my SAT subject tests I did French and US history. I got a 800 in French and 710 in US History. In the fall of my senior year I plan on taking Math I, Spanish (WL) and French (WL) subject tests.

For my Extra curriculars, I have been involved in many school activities. I am in French National Honor Society, President of the FNHS, Treasurer of French Club, VP of Spanish Club. I am a part of the Key Club International and do multiple volunteer assignments with them. Also, I have and will volunteer for congressman in the city I live. For sports, I am on JV Lacrosse, Varsity Cross Country, and JV swimming.

I want to go to Georgetown, American University, Boston Uni, Lehigh Uni or George Washington Uni. I plan on double majoring in a foreign language and International Business or International Affairs. (Not completely sure yet.)

My talent is foreign languages and I will put that in my college essay and I will get letters of rec from my language teachers. I am currently studying 3 languages and want them to know that.

Can you please chance me?

Georgetown you’ll need higher test scores like 2100 minimum and like 2000 to be safe for the rest. Other wise Your EC’s are fine, your grades are good and the one thing i’d say you should change is your rigor of your classes, but it’s too late for that now so best of luck.

Hey,

I agree, your SAT score is a bit on the low side. However, your HUGE emphasis on foreign language (esp. with Georgetown) and help with a local congressperson should be advantageous. Have you received any awards? It might also be different depending on your ethnicity and socio-economic status.

Also, a resource you could look into is parchment.com, which basically electronically predicts your chances to get into any school based off of your info.

I’ve gotten French language awards.

Georgetown: Reach
Lehigh: Low Reach
the rest are matches

I think you have good chances for all but Georgetown. For that, you might need to work a bit harder. But it is certainly not out of reach. :)

thanks for the info

I think you would have a fair shot at American
