expect a rejection letter...

very unlikely...you'll need a dramatic increase in test scores to make yourself "competitive". (i.e. 2200+, 700+ SAT IIs)

Your EC's aren't that strong either.

Best of luck to you though.

well that gpa is only 10-11 not including the boost from senior year which is currently 4.2 so maybe? o well safety schools

reach, but you still have a chance. if you write an essay displaying serious disadvantages in your life, you still may be able to get in regardless of your point count (i'm only guessing this is true because i have a friend who was accepted with a 3.5 gpa, 1450 SAT, and only minor ECs

1450/1600 is high

...out of 2400!

Your friend is my hero.

Although im not an admissions person @ UCSD, I'm going to have to say that your chances of acceptance to UCSD is pretty low. Its not impossible, but it would be really difficult when GPA and SATs are so essential for admissions to this particular university. Make sure to write about any possible socioeconomic disadvantages, if you have any!
And best of luck!

I think it is a reach. but remember...ucsd uses a point system. I dont know how it works but even if your gpa and test scores are low, you still have a shot if you have everything else
=]

i think its a reach..... improve those sat scores!!
