I know that acceptances are coming out soon and I’m having a really iffy time thinking about where I’m going to be accepted/waitlisted.
I had a 4.3 Overall GPA, played volleyball for 3 years, did TaeKwonDo for 14 and Music for 10, I got a 29 on the ACT, 1370 on the SAT with a 23/24 essay score. I don’t have that many extracurriculurs but I lumped it in with TaeKwonDo on my application because we did a lot of community service as a team. I think my personal statement essays are definitely different and well written and are a solid 8/10.
I applied to UCI and UCSD under a science field and UCLA/UCB as an English major.
Thanks for any feedback and I’m sorry if this isn’t in the right forum field, I just want help!!!
I don’t know much about colleges in California. However, usually if you have a more-than-average SAT score along with strong EAs and strong essays, you have a great chance.
And so, I think for UCI and UCSD you have a decent chance.
But for UCLA/UCB, it might be a reach if volleyball, music and taekwondo (including the community service) are the only EA you have, since the EAs don’t really relate with the English major.
But I want you to know that I’m a high school student myself so don’t take my words too seriously.
Don’t stress too much about the results. Once they’re submitted, they’re in. Just leave it to the universe to sort all that sh* out.
Wherever you end up going, you’ll do great!
Ey thanks man, I guess I’m worrying too much about it when there’s really nothing I can do anymore
@Bubbanan no problem. I was in the same boat as you so I understand. Can’t really help but to worry.
