Can someone clarify the DHS instructions?

It says "rather than sending a three-dimensional project, we suggest that you send
CD-ROMs, DVDs, electronic files, photocopies, slides, photographs or videotapes of your work, augmented by a written description."

Does this mean whatever I do with the box I can only send a video or photo of it? Plus, when I looked at past DHS winners, a lot have done videos and box animations. I kinda just want to decorate my box in a certain way. Can I do that instead?

No, they just mean that if your project is some kind of 3-D construction it A) might not travel well and B) is hard for them to pass around to each Dean for evaluation. If your project is easily transportable, such as a drawing or any of the things mentioned above, sending it with your application is fine.

You can do whatever you want. That is the whole idea.

Okay Thanks!
