<p>In any case, you’ve summarized the process fairly well. Let’s say you wanted to do stem cell research at Harvard. <p>It’s also a great idea to ask a professor/mentor/teacher/family friend for potential contacts. Professors will be much more receptive to an email from someone they already know!</p>
