<p>Can one apply both EDI and EDII? Does applying EDII have the same benefits that applying EDI does? What happens if you are accepted both EDI and EDII?</p>

<p>EDI and EDII are exactly the same thing; just the deadline is different. if you happen to miss the EDI deadline but you decide you want to apply ED to that school, you can apply EDII. You cannot apply for both EDI and EDII. Hope that helps :)</p>
<p>for the few colleges of which I've seen data, EDI has a much higher acceptance %. EDII still provides a boost, but just not as much.</p>
<p>emizzly is right. I wanted to add, though, that you can apply under both the ED I and ED II plans if you are rejected or deferred by your ED I school before the ED II deadline for another shcool has passed.</p>
