Can someone explain the fluctuation in these CR scores?

Practice test 1: 550
Practice test 2: 570
Practice test 3: 610
Practice test 4: 620
Practice test 5: 550
Practice test 6: 550
Practice test 7: 670

So, by the final practice test, my score rocketed up to 670, after having gone down to 550 for a couple of times. What does this mean? Have I improved that much, or was it just an easy exam? I do recall going over a few tips on this forum, that included going through the process of elimination, supporting an answer with the passage before choosing it, and using every second of the allotted time to the exam etcetera.

Anyone have an analysis on this?

I’d look at the passages in each test and analyze how you felt about them. It’s likely that the last test had passages with which you were more comfortable and possibly even enjoyed. If that is not the case, then I’d say you’ve started internalizing the strategies you’re learning and are picking up speed and accuracy.

It’s a mix of both I feel. I hope it turns out to be the latter though.

Btw, this 670 score was on a Barron’s exam. I heard Barron’s was a bit harder than the original. Is it true? If so, by how many points would my score go up on the real thing?

Thank you! :-)

lol. Barron is just worded funny. So it’s hard. But just add 30 points to make you happy ;D

Good job! :D

Haha thanks :P
