<p>Yeah flopsy is right you choose whether you want to attend the general one for your major/department or one of the latter ones mentioned raza grad, asian/pacific islander, etc. It is beneficial for Latino students to attend Raza grad because there is no limit in the number of people that may attend (held at pauley pavilion huge amounts of seating) and the latino graduates' parents get to experience the ceremony in the same way a student whose parents spoke the language the ceremony was being held in. In the regular graduation for example there is no translation and tickets are handed out for a specific number of guests that are able to attend. I believe though that someone could attend both receptions as one is held on saturday and raza grad and other race/culture related graduations are usually held the next day (sunday).</p>
