Well there are no official rankings of undergraduate depts. US news ranks some, I think, but I don’t know what criteria they use. The criteria is what you should examine when you look at any rankings, and if those factors are ones that matter to you. this list is strange. Why is a private like Caltech on it, but not Stanford or Harvey Mudd or USC?

There are no official rankings, and what is out there is very subjective. Such as the list, I have noticed that the more selective schools are also ranked higher on the list.

Also, you don’t want private school so why is usc and cal tech on the list?

Finally, why do you want a list? To see which school is best for you to get a job?

Consider the CSUs as some of them offer more hands-on experience that translates to work in industry. As well, you’ll get smaller class sizes getting to know the students in your major and your professors, all at a significantly lower cost.

I don’t think there is a list of the combined schools. You have to go by each system: CSU’s and Cal states. The privates will have more money, but you could look at those as well-Claremont McKenna, Occidental, Cal Tech, USC, Stanford, etc.
