can someone give me an official chance?

<p>sorry if these chance threads are becoming extremely redundant, but im really nervous, ****ed off, and sad. I just got rejected by UCSB, UCD, and UCSD. Other schools i appled to were uci and ucla. </p>

<p>heres my stats:</p>

<p>2030 SAT (750 math , 680 cr, 600 writing)
710 SAT Math IIC
720 SAT Bio E</p>

<p>UC gpa: 3.54 (low...i know )</p>

<p>I have over 200 hours of community service, half of which was completed at a local hospital. (conducting osteoperosis screenings, front lobby desk, etc)</p>

<p>ec: 3 years of vollyball, 2 years of cross country, and vice president of a club.</p>

<p>I konw my Gpa isnt too spectacular, but i see people with lower test scores getting into schools like ucsd. </p>

<p>Sorry again for the redundancy, but i am really nervous and scared of whats going to happen. somebody chance me? thanks</p>

<p>My UC GPA is pretty low too for UC's at 3.77. SAT scores are decent like yours and I got in with Regents this year.</p>

<p>Dude... I don't know... I got rejected from UCSB, UCD, and UCSD also... This is getting rediculous. I really think it depends on the major you applied under... I applied under bio med... and this is screwing me over. I have 3.8 GPA, 1780 SAT, two 780 SATII and still got rejected... It is really competitive this year.</p>

<p>man i am in the same boat as you guys but with lower stats. i don't know how you can be rejected by UCSB with those stats. i got into UCSB but am waiting from UCLA and UCI</p>

<p>To be honest, I feel like it's all up to chance and luck. Many people at my school, including myself, were thought to be shoe-ins at UCD but all got rejected, and the most unexpected people got into UCD and UCSD. So far i'm 2/4 (rejected from UCD and UCSD) (accepted UCSB/UCSC) I'm still waiting on UCI, LA, and Cal, but I'm done thinking and guessing, I'm leaving it up to luck because when you try "chancing" yourself it only makes you more upset realizing you should've gotten in, but didnt. <p>3.45 gpa
2060 SAT
750 math IIC 800 chinese</p>

<p>3 years varsity volleybal and basketball and track and field</p>

<p>captain for volleyball and bball for 2 years </p>

<p>AND THEN</p>

<p>i got rejected from UCD and UCSB.. hMM?</p>

<p>yeah titan i sersiuosly think people in our bracket (~3.5 gpa, > 2000 sat ) are getting really effed up this year. goodluck though man.</p>

<p>the uc admissions this year is ridiculous and totally whack. some people with lower than average stats taking the spots of those who actually deserve it. i don't care if they want to diversify their campuses. they're denying hardworking students the right to attend the university that they have worked so hard for.</p>
