Is everything kept secret? I believe that people should not make more of and effort to keep some things secret. Nowadays, nothing is kept secret even if one tires bad to hide anything. People lost theirs privacy because of many factors one of such is the internet. Internet invaded both people's lives and privacy. Not only internet but also people, themselves, break others' privacy.
Throughout Literature, many writers have tackled the theme of privacy. In Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, Winston Smith, the main character who works for the Ruling Party to invaded people's privacy, figures out that what he and the party are doing is wrong. So, he starts to write down in a notebook, that he purchased knowing that it is forbidden to get, and even starts to talk to a man he knew about his hatred towards the party. Eventually, one day, Smith was arrested by the man he thought was his partner in his hatred to the government for committing a crime against the government.
Another example is the literary story Fahrenheit 451. In the story, the hero works for the government to burn books in order not to let people read and get knowledge. However, one day he starts to read some of the books that he was supposed to get rid of; he even stashed these books in the air conditioning ventilation. One day when his wife's friends came over to his house, they had an argument and eventually started to read the ladies one of the poems from the books he had hidden earlier. On the next day, his work department called out an alarm at his house to get him arrested and burn the books and his house. Nevertheless, he was able to escape the officials.
In conclusion, the world these days does not offer the people a full privacy that they would like the have. However, one day people will not sit still on this issue and may start a revolution against the opposing party.
