well my long term goal is to go to medical school. Direct med programs seem like a good idea and one i have in mind is GPPA at UIC, and if I were to get accepted the undergrad major would not matter. But aside from that Im not 100% sure what I would want to major in yet as I feel as though whatever I decided, if i put in the effort I can excel. I just need to figure out what it is that i want to do with myself.

I honesty have no specific preference. Thought i feel like being in the city would be a nice change, I've lived in the suburbs of Chicago my entire life, and would prefer to stick around here but really i'm open to anything and everything

hmm
Johns Hopkins (Baltimore)- well known for a tough premed atmosphere
Case Western (Cleveland)- tough engineering/science programs- lots of premeds

jhu would be a nice match probably
cwru more of a safety for you

thanks im really appreciating the feedback . . . i really have no idea where i would lie in terms of reach/fit/safety any anything is a great help!

Northwestern also comes to mind. I would also recommend checking out UChicago to see if you like it, but I feel that if you want to focus on pre-med you might not like the Core Curriculum.
