The discussion title sounds a little weird :-/

I took the SAT Practice Test #1 in the CollegeBoard Blue Book. I corrected what I could, but I still have questions that I don't get.

Also, I didn't write the essay because I know I can't grade it myself. For the essay, would it help to read essays that got a 12? Or should I just write as well?

I am taking the October 2014 SAT. I studied it over the summer and so far my highest score is a 2020 (essay score: 10). I have been consistently getting 8/10s on my essays. Assuming I would get a 10 on this essay topic, I would get 1950, according to the BB's scoring chart.

I also think I have been plateauing for a whole month now :P Is there any way for my scores to go higher? I want a 2100.
