So I'm looking for a school in the southeast. I'm a Flordia resident and I want to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. SOmehting in that field.

Can someone suggest for me safety/match/reaches.

Now, I was mainly debating between Georgia Tech, and University of Florida. I know GTech is a better school for engineering, and this was my dream school, but the reviews have seriously discouraged me. I have read about a majority of people hating their experience. So I haven't decided yet where I want to go. ANd I recently heard about Florida Institute of Technology. Is this school good? If it came down to UF vs FTech, which would be the better choice?

And please recommend safeties/matches/reaches besides UF, FTech, or GTech, or if you do, tell me where you think these three schools fit for me.

Virginia Tech, UVA, Duke, NC State, Vanderbilt, Clemson, U of Tenn

Matches may be Clemson and NC State ( probably safeties). Also consider Tulane.

I visited Dartmouth this weekend. I know nobody would right off the bat recommend me for that school, however they did pay for me to fly up there, spend the weekend in their dorms, and participate in what I guess you could call their "Minority Recruitment program" - Destination Dartmouth. Me, along with about 35 other students(also minorities), particiapted in this program, and the fact that they paid for everything and about 85% of participants are accepted into Dartmouth makes me think it would be worth it to apply.
