Hi, I am a junior. I am making a list of colleges that I want to apply next year. I am interested in Economics, Sociology, History. I want to find somewhere that those departments are good. My list now has:

No ranking but I think I am in top 5%

any input ???

Can you guys help me ??

Hello ???? any input will be really helpful.

you're gonna have to take some practice SATs! And by some, I mean a LOT. You can check free events on PrincetonReview.com - they give lots of free practice tests and have results within a week. Practice, practice, practice. :)

I think you might need one EC - or one more EC - that you're REALLY passionate about. I don't see much passion in your list, at any rate.

I don't know much about liberal arts schools, but I think that if you do manage to raise your SAT considerably, you'll have a nice chance at all those schools - except the ivy. lol, b/c no one has an excellent shot at an ivy.

Do you think soccer might be one ???

What other schools do you suggests to add on my list ??

What target score should I aim for ? 2150 to 2200 ??

Any other opinions or suggestions ?

2150 would be fine, but that's a long way from 1660. Check out the Xiggi Method threads on CC.

Yeah, I had not had much practice of SAT before that PSAT.

Any suggestions or opinions about schools ??

"Any suggestions or opinions about schools ??"

Suggestions would depend on where your SAT scores end up.

Clark U., Worcester Mass would be better than Hofstra, St. Lawrence, Skidmore.

Thanks.

What do you guys thinks about the prestige of Hofstra and St. Lawrence ?

What other schools should I add to my list ?

What can be some good safeties or low match schools for me ??

Should I add Bowdoin ??

ANy more input ??
