I know everyone here is deliberating whether to attend an Ivy league or 4-year institution; however, I have a different question. I'm in a community college (for lack of money and resources) and wondering how many Honors classes I should take per semester. I want to take English 101, Humanities 60, and Art 102 . . . all are Honors. I'm also going to take math, but non-honors. My brother said it's too much for my Spring semester--considering that it's my first year. Do you guys think it's too much for Spring semester? Three Honors courses and one regular math course?

PS: I took five college-level courses (not honors) las Fall semester and got all A's. I'm confused! lol

What do I do? Ahhh! lol

How many hours are you taking?

I don't know what you mean by that! lol

Enrollment in 6 or more transferable units per semester, maintenance of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 GPA in Honors courses.

Completion of six Honors courses with a 3.0 GPA for certification upon transfer.

With the information above, I'd be taking 9 transferable units in the Spring semester. I'll just need three more honors courses later on to complete the program. But should I just take two honors classes and two regular, or three honors and one regular. lol I'm so wack. lol.

Semester hours. How many semester hours are you taking?

When I had up the hours from the four classes that I'm going to take, I come up with 6.05 hours.

We might be talking apples and oranges here.

An average semester load is around 15 hours. The typical class is 3 or 4 hours. So an average workload is 4 to 5 classes.

Yeah, I guess I'm average, because I'm taking four classes.
so yeah, I'm just taking two honors and two regulars.
Settled!
lol thanks a lot for your help :D
