<p>I'm going to be applying for the Fall 2011 semester and I want to know where I stand.</p>
<p>20 year old Hispanic American Male (Of Puerto Rican descent)
From New Jersey
English Major but would like to also double major in History when I transfer
HS GPA: 3.4 UW, Graduated 36th/238 in a weak HS.
Took 2 AP courses (English Lit and Government, got 3's on both exams)
SAT scores (10/2007): 1180/1900 (CR600/MTH-580/WRT-720) Planning to retake them on June 5th (should I?)
ECs: 1 Year Varsity Track & Field, Ministry Club, Peer Mediation, Some other stuff</p>
<p>College Coursework:
Wagner College (2008-2009) 3.6 GPA through 27 credits
Community College (2009-2010) 3.83 GPA through 31 credits. Only non-A was a B- in General Chemistry I
Community College (2010-2011) Planned 31 credits to finish general education requirements
ECs: Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Honors Program, 1 Year Varsity Tennis (WC), Sociology Club (CC), Business Club (CC), Philosophy Club (CC)
Recommendations: Tried transferring this year to other schools. Got incredibly strong recommendations (professors filled out Top 1% ever encountered boxes, etc) but was ultimately rejected by almost all of the schools I applied to.</p>
<p>Do you think I'll have a chance to transfer into UNC-CH? If not, what else do I have to do to make this happen?</p>
