So I am a transfer student from a Californian community college, and also a late bloomer who has just recently regained his standing thanks to American education. Since I lagged behind real bad during 12 years of pre-college education in my home country, my application looks like a mess comparing to other UChicago Applicants. But I love this place. I will just throw in my stats and hopefully gain some feed backs from alumni, fellow applicants, and any wandering admissions officers. Side note: I would love to network with others, so if it’s possible, anyone want to be my pen pal ?
