I am currently a rising senior in Northern VA.
My freshmen gpa was 3.3 ( I know its bad, low point of my life). My sophmore gpa was 3.8. My junior year gpa was 4.3 and I am going to work hard and try for all A’s in my first semester of senior year. My SAT is a 2150 and I plan taking the act. I have good EC’s. I have one close relative who has attended and recenlty graduated from UVA . Im hoping colleges will ignore or put less weight on my freshmen gpa.
Thanks and please be honest with me.
Also, I have taken hard classes throughout high school.
many schools disregard your freshman gpa and praise an upward trend. Also come up with some reason why it was “a low point” and college admissions officers will think “ok whatever.” your gpa the years after are great and your instate for UVA i assume which should be helpful
- nyu = match
- UVA = low reach
chance me back please?
