highly unlikely

highly unlikely but give it a shot u never know!

I would agree with freerhyme but you never know if you don’t apply. Good luck!

Well I would agree that his chances are highly unlikely in the fact Harvard is an extremely unlikely possibility for practically everyone, but he is certainly competitive and has as good of a chance as most applicants

^touche. Try applying to lower ivies (i.e. Brown, columbia, cornell, upenn…) i can’t see you not getting into one.

ur a 1st generation college and u have an edge so the school isnt all whites

no sorry. you are still a very good student though

It seems like everyone who posts a chance me link says their essays and recs are “extremely good”… and yet most of the actual essays that are posted here are mediocre. There’s a disconnect. If your essays and recs are actually that excellent, then it will give you a boost, but I would advise you to show it to a very critical English teacher or counselor and ask for a brutally honest assessment of what percentile it would be in quality compared to the others they’ve read. Don’t let them get away with “it’s very good. I’ve read many other good essays and they are each unique in their own ways.”

It also depends on how much you have accomplished in each of your extracurrics and whether you can make that come alive on the application. How many hospitals have you been involved with, and what have you done for them? Have you grown your organization? What exactly do you do with your art around the community?

I’d say you have a chance, but there isn’t enough info here to say how much.

@freerhyme
I think you should reconsider columbia being a lower ivy. considering top 3 hardest to get into
