My guidance counselors knows my drive and is going to give me an excellent recommendation letter, my physics teacher will give me an amazing one, My global teacher i think gave me a good one. My business teacher from nyu wrote me an okay one, and my writing teacher wrote me an amazing one.

Can you also chance me for Boston University business, Macalauy Honors, Penn State for business or pre med, binghamton pre med, boston university, boston college, and any other colleges you think would be good for me. Thank you.

Bump anyone?

Anyone? Lol

I am new to college chances and to CC, so IDK what “regent’s score” is. Your GPA is not very high (Freshman and Sophomore), however, your SAT seems to compensate it (I think it’s safe to asume classes were tough?). To me, you seem like a good candidate, especially with those S.A.T scores. Being resident and taking summer classes with them helps too.

@NYUhopeful1, NYU was also my top choice and i nearly applied to almost all the colleges as you. I did not want to pay soo much money at NYU for a college that just makes you a number and weeds you out so i applied NYU bio major for Regular Decison. My brother graduated from NYU and he regrets going there alot.

What was your class rank? NYU takes that into consideration.

My stats are similar to yours, I have a 2240 single sitting but a 97.9 GPA weighted and ranked in the top 10% in my class. 800 on math 1 and 700 on chemistry.
Currently my top choice is Binghamton University mainly because it offers the “best college experience” I applied early action so if i get accepted, most likely will im going to withdraw all my other apps. I also dont want to shell out soo much money for undergad especially at NYU, Boston, and penn state to gain okay education.

My theory is if the college is not IVY league, it’s not worth the money and u would rather save $$$. My sister goes to Binghamton and absolutely loves it, so that made it my first choice if u were wondering. My sister says parties at Binghamton are awesome and great if u care :)

I also applied to NYU(bio major) Boston university(7 Yr med program), Upenn, Cornell, Brown, Notre Dame, princeton for now---- I was set on NYU and sent in app but im not going there and will only turn down Binghamton if i get into an Ivy league.

and finally now i chance you lol, i try to be honest as possible:
NYU: Reach (low gpa but since u early decision they are usually lenient)

Binghamton: Reach (Kinda low gpa, Bing usually accepted 94-97 gpa’s but if u early actioned u prob have a bit higher chance) THe SUNY’s only look at GPA and SAT as harsh as that sounds, its true

Boston University: Accepted, BU loves extra curriculars
Penn State: Accepted, Easy to get into…
Boston College: Rejected/waitlist
Maclauy: Idk

Thanks for you chances guys! And Senior 20144 I agree with you on that NYU is a lot of money. I wouldn’t recommend it for pre med because the pre med school doesn’t really matter; the medical school does. And binghamton is honestly an easy acceptance if you have an sat over 2000. In my naviance chart for binghamton everyone above a 1900 made bing.

Also I’m applying to NYU Stern, where I would gain a lot of connections, so it would be worth it for me.

And my class rank is not great 90 something of 377. But I had a familial issue, which is why my grades were low freshman and sophomore year (my parents and I different views about my future). I explained that in my essay kind of and also going to write a paragraph on it in the “additional information” section. Also I though NYU offered a holistic admissions process

And yea I heard the same about the parties, which is why I would love to go there but it wouldn’t help me in the finance field, but if I don’t get into my finance schools, I’ll go there for pre med.

Low Reach. Good luck! Please get me back.

Would my chances get much better if I increase my reading sat score to 740? That’s what I get in practice tests now

Bumppppppppp

Lastttt bumpp
