Can someone please chance me for the following schools? I will chance you back, promise :)

Junior in California
Extremely stressed because I don’t think I can get into any colleges with my stats
(Keep in mind that I do have 2 semesters left of junior year so my GPA will hopefully go up significantly)

GPA: 4.22 (W), 3.75 (UW)

I know the unweighted is bad, so I’m doing my best to bring it up.

ACT: 35 C
PSAT: 224 (so I’m hoping to be a NM semifinalist)

colleges:

UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, UC Davis (I am in-state for all these schools)

Cornell (ED), U Mich, UNC Chapel Hill (out-of-state for these)

I haven’t included my extra curriculars, but can you please chance me for the schools listed based on my stats? Thank you very very much!

You got to be kidding. With you stat you can get into most of the colleges. In state - except everyone is good to go.
Out of state - UNC is good. UM, Cornell (ED) - is good. Now if you want money that is a different question. Univ of San Diego, Texas colleges (TCU/SMU) and private LAC will provide money.

Calculate your UC GPA at end of Junior year: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Your ACT score is excellent and your GPA looks within range. Your SAT score looks promising based on PSAT.

Your chances based on your stats.
What does your HS course rigor look like? Intended major?

UCSD/UCD/UCSB: Match
UCI: Low Match
UCLA/UCB: High Match

Spend time on your essays since UC admissions are not all about your stats especially for UCLA/UCB. Good Luck.

Your unweighted GPA isn’t bad I would be so happy with a 3.75 and so would many other kids saying it’s so bad and that you don’t think you can get in anywhere because of it is a put down to others who have worked hard but can’t come close to that GPA despite their best efforts and quite frankly you sound a bit arrogant. Maybe thats just me reading too much into it but as someone with a GPA lower than that thats how you come off. With that being said here’s my opinion on your chances
Cornell; Reach (but its a reach for everyone) ACT score makes you competitive
UMICH: High match/reach its really hard for OOS kids to get in but stats wise you fit
UNC: same thing as UMICH
As for the UC’s I think you have a solid chance at all especially as you’re in state UCLA and UCB are obviously going to be the hardest two.
Overall you’re competitive applicant for all schools especially given your ACT if Ecs essays and LoRs are good I wouldn’t be surprised if you got into the non UCs just keep an eye on how you come off. Best of luck to you!

Agree with @Gumbymom.
Good that you expect your GPA to go up, as you need somewhat higher UW GPA for UCLA and perhaps UCSD to be real competitive.

Thanks all! @Gumbymom I’ve taken a very rigorous course load. Sophomore year I took 4 AP classes (out of 7) and this year I am taking all AP’s. Intended major is biology/biochemistry.

@hssenior27 hey I’m sorry if I came off as arrogant, I really didn’t mean to. It’s just that I come from a really competitive HS where a lot of kids get 4.0s. Once again, sorry if I sounded arrogant, that was not my intention.

Your stats are very good, don’t be worried. The GPA may be slightly low but I know many students who have gotten into good colleges with similar GPAs. Your PSAT score looks brilliant and if you score 1500+ on the SAT, that is very good. It all depends on your ECs and essays. You need to stand out from other applicants because there will be thousands of students around the nation just like you. You need to show a passion for the school. Keep working hard, you are definitely on the right track. Best of luck!
