Can someone please chance me?

Hi everyone, I am a junior right now, from a small town in Wyoming, and I was wondering about my chances of getting into a good school. I am hispanic and female. I have gotten a 4.0 unweighted for my freshman, sophomore, and first half of my junior year. I am worried that I might get a B in my math class this semester though (88.5%). I want to know if I can still get into a good school. My top choice is Georgetown University. I will list my accomplishments below. Sorry this is such a long post, please feel free to just skim through it!

Academics: I got a 29 on my ACT, and plan on retaking it soon. I have taken advanced classes throughout high school. This year I am taking AP Government, AP German, and AP Literature. I also took Advanced American Studies last year, a social studies and English double credit class, but it doesn’t count as an AP. Next year I plan on taking AP Calculus, AP German (you can take it two years in a row), AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology. I was on the honor roll my sophomore and junior years. I am in National Honors Society and German Honors Society. I participated in Wyoming History Day as a sophomore.

Sports: My freshman year, I played volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I won the most improved player for basketball, and was the captain of both my basketball and soccer teams. I did cross country running, alpine skiing, and soccer my sophomore year, as well as Speech and Debate. My partner and got third place for novice policy debate at one tournament. I was the soccer captain again, and I lettered in alpine skiing and speech and debate. My junior year, I did cross country running and alpine skiing. I won most improved runner for cross country, and lettered in cross and skiing. I don’t plan on playing any sports next year.

Clubs: My freshman year, I was in a club called Forces of Altruism (FOA). I was very involved in my school’s Peace Jam club my Sophomore year, and this year I am the president. I did a lot for International Club last year and this year, and I plan to be president next year. I ran for duchess for International club my sophomore year during homecoming week, and participated in lots of activities to gain support for the club. This year I am in GSA as well. I have done a lot of volunteer/club work for all of the clubs, including: Leading a food drive for the animal shelter, making holiday gift baskets for volunteers at the soup kitchen and at the Salvation Army, selling Advent calendars, making gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child, selling valentines day cookies with different languages on them, holding international food days, going to Peace Jam conferences, helping plant a community garden, organizing a poetry slam, sponsoring a run/walk/bike week and a fat talk free week, putting nice notes on all the lockers in the school for Love Everybody Day, helping bring Rachel’s Challenge to our school, sponsoring day of silence, holding letter writing marathons for Amnesty International, holding two giant concerts (to raise money for Wounded Warriors, ending human trafficking in Cambodia, and suicide prevention), donating items to Goodwill, and writing holiday cards for an assisted living home and for deployed soldiers.

Other: I was a teen teacher at a summer camp for two weeks, I have done way over 100 hours of babysitting, I went to a summer camp for young female leaders, did a week-long soccer summer camp, canvased and worked phones for candidates running for local government positions in a half volunteer, half paid job for two months, went to a week long ski camp, did the We The People competition and made it to state, and did a month-long exchange in Germany over the summer with my German class. I am also hosting a German student in the fall for a month.

This summer I am going to Girls State, and on a ten day Habitat for Humanity Trip for which only 64 people were selected out of over 500 applicants. I have also applied to a week long summer institute at Georgetown, but I don’t know if I was selected yet.

Thanks so much!
