can someone please elaborate on the engineering and MBA program?

I got accepted for CIT as ECE, and I read something about the ECE and MBA combined 5 year program, can soemone please elaborate on that.

This isnt just for ECE, I'm pretty sure any engineering major in the CIT school can apply for this.

Anyway, you apply for it in the january of your junior year.

Here's info:

what if you don't make the program, is there any other programs that you can do. When do you declare that you want to double major.

Neat, I'm still having trouble deciding between MCS and CIT but this is tipping the scales more towards CIT

Good Morning! I just wanted to give you some additional information regarding the 5 year Bachelor of Engineering and MBA degree program offered at Carnegie Mellon. This intergrated program is available for the 5 traditional Engineering majors. There is a formal application process, for this program, that Engineering students must complete during their 2nd year and notification is typically sent at the end of the spring term. Accepted students will receive a BSE from CIT and a MBA from Tepper in 5 years. If you have any other specific questions, please call the Office of Admission and a counselor will be happy to speak with you regarding the process and your options.

Thank you for the excellent reply.

Is there anywhere I can read about statistics concerning those who are accepted?

That is a great question....I will look into that and try to get back to you as soon as possible. If I don't get back to you by the end of the week, please send me a message.

Many thanks!

thanks, what about the tuition, do you pay the same amount if you do this integrated program?

I was also wondering what if you try to apply to this program and didn't make it. Can you do a double major or something?

I was looking on the website, and I think you pay undergrad tuition the first 3 years and then the MBA program admission the last two.

what if you do double major, do you pay double. I mean how many classes can you take with the tuition that you pay

I was under the impression that most people don't go to business school for an MBA until after a few years of experience. Is that true? If, so, does an MBA from this program have the same value as a "real" MBA? What do people who complete this program usually do?

bump.....///
