Can someone please read my personal statement?

Serious readers only! Preferably English majors. :D

I've finished all three and the only essay I'm having issues with is the final one. Also, is it appropriate to end the first essay with a supporting comment for the department of your chosen major? So intro enumerates reasons and inspiration behind chosen major, later experience, and then concluding with a comment connecting your interests in the major with a positive "review" of the department or university as a whole? it reads more sincere than desperate.

biggest issue is with essay #3, but if someone wants to look at essay #1 that would be very helpful.

I’ll give it a shot, I majored in English.

not to seem rude - but im very anxious about my anonymity here. have you read other essays here at CC? can another poster vouch for you?

Do you need the help or not? I’m trying to be helpful and it seems you don’t need to be helped. If anonymity is a concern, erase your name.

i can vouch for cosmic

hey op. Becarefull though, have u seem the thread about asking people to read? may result in plagiarism.

can you link me to thread? nothing against you cosmic - but you seem new here.

Not really a thread, but i somehow saw this on google. [Ms. Sun’s UC Admissions Blog - Why You Shouldn’t Post Your College Essays Online](Error)

I have enough posts to seem reputable.

Send it my way, but I’m not promising I won’t steal it.

lol ms.sun. she doesnt realize that its nearly impossible to get caught for plagiarising. throw both essays out if they’re identical? these guys are reading 60 essays a given day. the last thing they wanna do, is go back in the pile and search for the “identical” essay

There always an influx of accounts made “coincidentally” the same month applications are due. Just sayin.

Just submit it later if you haven’t gotten a counselor to review it.
