can someone please tell me about ILR?

I honestly have no idea what it is really about.... Wiki is no help either.

I'm pretty curious because I know all about all the other schools at Cornell but ILR is kind of just a blur to me.

What is ILR all about?

What kind of people go to ILR?

What do they usually end up doing after college?

What kind of classes do you take at ILR?

thank you so much.

uh this should answer all your questions: Cornell University ILR School your questions are so broad, it's gonna take too long to type everything out

ILR is about studying the world of work...

ILRies 1/3 of them go to law school...i'd say the rest go to work for business or government...

the basic ILR curriculum consists of micro/macro/labor econ, org. behaviour (psychology of organizations), human resources management, labor history, labor law, collective bargaining...and a couple more upper level electives that expound on what you learn in these lower courses...
