<p>The key for me? Nomination. I knocked both interviews out of the park with both my senators (congressman was a pain and lost my application)... Ended up with a principal from one guy. Hence my stats are lower than these all stars ;) but it doesnt matter you can succeed here if ya got the right frame of mind... I had a tad weaker academic resume but athletics, interviews, and leadership positions helped out a lot... Heck I am real close to a 3.0 here!!! WOOOOO!!!! :)</p>
<p>things on paper can only get you so far. An important thing is also to let people know the extent of your passion for what you are trying to do.</p>
<p>Absolutely true what Cad said. Learning to interview and present yourself is more important, IMO, than just the paper. Paper will get you in the door, but the interviews and who you are will be the game breakers by far once you're here.</p>
