<p>^^^Agreed. Ask your English teacher and guidance counselor to read the essay. Don’t give out your essay and take opinions from people you don’t even know.</p>
<p>^Just trying to be helpful. I have no stake here, no kids applying this year, but I did have a daughter who was accepted to ND last year, partly on the strength of what her counselor said was the best “Why (insert school)?” essay he had ever seen.</p>
<p>^^I meant no offense to you or anyone else who offered to read the essay. I would not expect anyone on the ND page to do anything to hurt an applicant, I just think that in general it is wiser to seek help from a person or people that the OP knows personally. Just my opinion though.</p>
