What I’m trying to tell you, is that this might not be the best place. If you haven’t noticed, it’s full of a bunch of know-it-alls and stuck up braggarts. Ask a teacher or counselor, even a parent. But don’t freak out for opinions here. Trust me, they won’t help.</p>

<p>Our school year is over and we haven’t sent a student to a school with an acceptance rate of under 50% for 5-6 years. My parents have no experience at all with College Admissions. I just wish someone could tell whether my essay is Elite College material. I have no way of telling whether I should scrap my essay.</p>

<p>I know this is bumping an old thread - but for argument’s sake - what’s the Wow Williams essay? The only essay topic I saw was on Looking through windows. I hope I’m not missing something.</p>
<p>Nope, you haven’t missed anything at all for application purposes. This is for the Windows on Williams (WOW) visit program they have.</p>
<p>Thanks for clearing this up for me! I thought from other posts I have seen that it was a variation on the “why this college” essay, like “Wow I love Harvard” or something.</p>
