I know it isn't related to UDUB, but what is Evergreen State College like academically and socially. A lot of people make jokes, saying "even burnouts need an education", or "if you remember it, you weren't there." Is that just misconception? The one thing that impressed me was that the first major was environmental studies, and that's what i'm thinking of majoring in.

My older daughter attends Evergreen, she entered as a transfer student. She loves it. She is neither a burnout nor someone who will “forget” she was there. She had an amazing opportunity to spend 7 weeks in Tokyo for one of the programs she was in. For her it’s been a great match. She is delighted there are no letter grades and no finals. There are evaluations and projects, more like the real world.

TESC is pretty cool. I’ve read research on academic outcomes for different schools and their results in the real world and TESC’s cohort holds up well. My brother might go there. I don’t see the issue.
