MY SCHOOL WAS IN THE TOP 4% OF HIGH SCHOOLS NATION WIDE

I’M A LIKEABLE KID WHO REALLY TRIES HARD, I JUST TOOK SCHOOL FOR GRANTED FRESHMAN YEAR…

IM OOS AND THIS WOULD PROBABLY BE MY #1 CHOICE…

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

and i forgot to say i plan on going into business… and majoring in accounting and economics

bump…

i would say definitely except ive heard some ridiculous rejections from this year

Your GPA falls into the range of folks that are getting defferred. Some have even been declined. Read the entire rejection thread and you’ll see more of the specific stats.

first, thanks guys, and i read some of the rejections. but the rumor i heard was that this year’s upcoming class was one of the best classes academically in a long time. i can only hope that my class wouldnt be that large.

thanks for the input guys :)

meant to say not that good not large… haha

oh i didnt put in there that im a junior this year… my bad

Your ACT and SAT are fine, but the GPA will hurt you. Several years ago the average incoming student had a 3.5. Now they are getting more rigorous and expecting a 3.6.

Does OSU consider weighted GPA?

Hmm well my friend just recently got in with a 3.3 (or was it 3.4?) weighted, with a 2100 SAT, so…

Maybe they reeeaallly like the essays this year? Or perhaps it was merely the specific majors those that were rejected applied for.

Maybe it is an instate/out of state thing? Or interest level? Maybe your friend showed a lot more interest in the school with visiting and such.

Perhaps… also, he’s Phillipino, so that might be a readon (expanding the diversity thing). Anyway, I’m in a similar position as I’ve got a 3.2(or close to) weighted and a 2060 sat. I also think I wrote a pretty kick ass essay, in addition to good letters of reccommendation. sooooo I’ll tell you guys what happens!

BTW it’s in ‘evaluation’ and has been there for a while… I don’t know what this means!

OOOHHH and superhenderson, if you keep up the good work this year I’m pretty sure you’ll get in =]
