Can someone tell me where I should apply?

Hi! I live in Northeastern PA. I want to stay in driving distance, so PA, NY, NJ, Conn, NH, MD, Virginia, OH
I’m looking for a college that offers %100 of demonstrated financial need, if not %100 then close to it.

SAT I (breakdown): 1870 (630 CW, 580 M(haha), 690 W)

ACT: 30 (33-cr, 30 english, 30 science, 27 math)

SAT II: 710 US History, took Bio-M but it was bad

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): we don’t do out of 4.0. It’s 102 weighted, 99 unweighted.

Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 5/144

AP (place score in parenthesis): school doesn’t offer AP classes besides APUSH to less than seniors. Took APUSH junior year. Taking AP Physics and AP bio next year.

IB (place score in parenthesis):

Awards:
Dr. David W Kistler Scholarship
FBLA state qualifier 10th and 11th
FBLA State top 10
CFL National Qualifier
State qualifier for debate
Highest honors 9th-11th grade
Questbridge College Prep Scholar

Extracurricular Activities (place leadership roles in parenthesis):
FBLA (reporter), debate, ski club, key club, student council, softball, cheer, junior leadership, math club

Job/Work Experience:
Worked at pizza place for two years but quit for school. Summer job at pool.
Volunteer/Community service:
Organized a charity run for The Wounded warrior project. Volunteer at nursing home.
Summer Activities:
Work, College classes at local university

School Type:
Public, small, and low-income
Ethnicity:
White
Gender:
Female

Intended major or areas of interest?
Any particular type of school that appeals to you (size, focus, etc)?

I’m looking at either business or biology, or a combination like health systems management. I don’t really care about size, but I think one near a city would be best for internships and job opportunities.

U of Pennsylvania
Princeton
Connecticut College
Trinity College
Lafayette College
Case Western Reserve University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Insititute
Ohio Wesleyan University
Juniata College
Allegheny College
U of Pittsburgh
Worcester Polytechnic Institute

RPI and WPI are STEM schools that want more female applicants. They both have undergraduate Business and/or Management majors.

Holy Cross, I assume Mass is ok
Hamilton

I would put St. Lawrence on the list not sure if they say they are 100% need but the track record is good.

I’d suggest Carnegie Mellon as your reach and UPitt as your safety. CMU could be a match if you get up your SAT/ACT.

You should apply to Bryn Mawr. Bryn Mawr meet full need and you fit their admission profile. Bryn Mawr has a higher acceptance rate than many colleges that meet full need (a lot of these schools have super competetive admissions), yet it has excellent academics. BMC is part of a consortium so you would have plenty of class choice.

With your SAT and ACT scores, not Princeton and not Penn (sorry).

Bryn Mawr, Franklin and Marshall, Oberlin, Hamilton, Macalester (it’s a bit far), Colgate, Trinity (CT). University of Richmond are all purported to meet full need. But you may need to bring up your test scores.

For other schools with merit aid, try Juniata, and Allegheny in PA. You may want to try Earlham in Indians, and Ohio Wesleyan in Ohio.

Thanks!
