what's the average SAT I score and average unweight GPA for all 2007-2008 freshman applicants?

Did USC release that info to the public?

They can't release that information yet because I'm sure they haven't even made all of their decisions. I do remember that they mentioned it during the Admitted Students Reception in the spring though.

You really do live up to your name, stressed0ut...

at Explore they said they expect an average SAT of 2100 and an average unweighted GPA (with lots of hard classes though, of course) of a 3.8.

It's not public yet, but they have leaked some stuff. I heard from a very reliable source that not only is the average SAT score is the highest in the university's history (re-adjusted to 1600 scale) but is actually higher than Berkeley's this year.

Admittedly, USC superscores and I don't think Berkeley does. But that's pretty impressive I think anyway. :)

What do you mean by superscores?

If you take the SAT multiple times, they take the highest score from each section. For example, suppose I take the SAT 3 times - and my scores are 800M, 700CR, 700W - 710M, 750CR, 800W - and 720M, 800CR, 730W. Because I scored 800 on each section at some point, my "superscore" is 2400 - despite the fact that I never scored higher than 2260 on any one test.

In practice, though, superscoring doesn't usually give 140 point advantages like that.

gosh i'm dead :(

I barely pass last year's lower 25th percentile.

you have reallly good EC's though man, and a pretty good GPA, if anyonr can pull it off with that score, i think you could

see stressed0ut? i'm not the only one who believes in you!

I believe in you too, stressed out. I just went back and read your stats and your only weakness is SAT. You have so much that makes up for that. I really think you'll get in. I think your ec's and midterm grades will put you over the top.

aw thanks guys for the support and hope, i really appreciate it! :)

I'm kinda touched.. I'll definately let you all know how it turns out!

Please keep me updated with your wonderful news as well!
