<p>What is CSS. I know it has to do something with financial aid but is it necessary? is this applicable to all schools? Would I need to complete it to finish my application, in other words, do I need to do it? If I do, how long does it take and does it allow me to get more money from colleges?</p>
<p>CSS/Profile is a financial aid form that is required of some colleges/universities. It is much more detailed than the FAFSA form. Depending on which schools you are applying to and whether you will be applying for financial aid will determine whether you need to fill out CSS Profile. </p>
<p>You may access CSS Profile and learn more about it through the College Board website. Since some schools do have deadlines for this form, please check it out soon (I do know I needed to fill it out for my son for Boston College early...I believe by November)</p>
