I had a wonderful interview, I wrote great essays, and I have great EC's. Can this overcome an ACT score of 26? I just suck at these types of test. Time is always the issue for me. I am afraid that my score is just way too low for a school like Tufts.

Perhaps -- if your academics (GPA, rank) are amazing.

Well they are good, but they are not amazing. I guess I just answered my own question, sigh.

Don't write yourself off. No one knows whether or not they'll make it until they get that long-anticipated admissions response! Everyone needs to have other options, just in case --- but it's also good to keep positive thoughts until April!!

I am trying to, but it is hard with a terrible score of a 26 ACT! Good luck to everyone though.

i have a friend who had an SAT score of 1180 (old scale) and very average academics...ranked 60 at a bad public school. but she had amazing ec's, very genuine essays and a rockin interview. she's a junior at tufts. admittingly tufts was selective back then but just shows that there is still hope.

Nice, that gives me hope!
