<p>I dout it. It's not the hours, but what you get out of it. That's what I've been told, anyway.</p>
<p>I agree with Harvard2011. If you write what you gained out of it..it could be a good hook. You could talk about a specific experience you had..and how it changed your life, but talking about thing like...."I think you should choose me because I volunteer a lot" does nothing for an essay..because tons of people volunteer.</p>
